That Moment A MINI TORNADO Forms When Your OUTSIDE At RECESS PLAYING!!!

Source| Dust devils are strong whirlwinds that form on the ground and often look like small, skinny tornadoes. Most of the time, they are relatively harmless — but sometimes they gain gather enough speed and velocity to cause damage.

Schoolchildren in the city of Gansu, China, got to experience not one, but three dust devils at a sporting event held at Yuanquan Primary School on Wednesday.

Local media capture the frightening event. One photograph showed a student being lifted into the air by the third whirlwind that hit the area. The student suffered minor head injuries and was taken to the hospital, according to NBC News.

 Chinese broadcast CCTV said the first dust devil measured between 100 and 130 feet in height and was approximately 10 feet wide. Those in charge attempted to evacuate the children as the whirlwind strew debris around the area.
